Cowra Community Preschool
A Brand-New Preschool is Coming to Cowra in 2027
Purpose-built. Community-focused. Opening Term 2, 2027.
We're excited to share that our new purpose-built preschool is expected to open in Term 2, 2027. Designed specifically for children aged 3 to 5 years, the new service will provide opportunities for children to learn through play, explore their interests, build friendships, and develop the skills they need for a confident transition to school.
Important Information
The new preschool will operate during NSW school terms, with sessions offered during school hours, similar to our current Mobile Preschool programs.
Children must turn 3 years of age on or before 31 July 2027 to be eligible for a preschool place.
How will Enrolments Work?
Families currently enrolled in our Cowra and Holmwood Mobile Preschool programs will transition to the new preschool in Term 2. Further information regarding re-enrolments and transition processes will be communicated directly to families.
Expressions of Interest for new children will be available to fill out from Monday 28th September via the enrolments tab on our website, or at the administration office (20 Comerford Street Cowra). Applications will accepted back from 8am Monday 12th October 2027.
Depending on availability:
-
Children may commence in one of our existing Mobile Preschool programs at the beginning of 2027 and transition to the new preschool in Term 2, or
-
Children may be offered a place directly at the new preschool when it opens and capacity becomes available.
